"When all you have is a hammer everything looks like a nail” This is unbelievably true...!!

Pragati is an established artist and designer with several reputable shows and international awards in her bag. Recently, she was selected as one of only 3 artists for a Habitat for Humanity project in Vancouver, Canada and her art works have been selected for CRY (Child Relief and You) products in 2012.

She is an industrial designer and an architect by profession. Her designs are environment-friendly, ethnic yet minimalistic, and reflect her Indian roots. She is trained in classical music and dance.

Hailing from North India and having travelled and lived in many parts of the world, she understands and appreciates the beauty that is inherent in diverse cultures, tradition, art, and architecture. Being tagged ‘creative’ since early childhood, she continued to hone her artistic talents and acquired her Masters in Product Design from the prestigious National Institute of Design, India.

She finds ample satisfaction in creating art and artsy products that can make anyone smile. Her works are visually appealing and exceed expectations of the viewers, she does this by using simple principles of design.

As a hobby she loves to teach art and learn from kids as young as 2 year olds. Every such session is one powerful exchange of creativity.

Combining music, movement and textures in art seems a very interesting idea she plans to innovate on. She aspires to keep innovating in her unique techniques inspired from nature, Indian folk art & crafts, people, fashion, culture...!
